Salesforce Tower to illuminate iconic SF skyline with digital light display

Salesforce has decided that it would be pretty cool to light up the skyline with a huge nightly LED display of art and other images captured by cameras placed around San Francisco. Even if Salesforce doesn’t use the display for advertising purposes, it still as the potential to be very obnoxious. From my perspective, the tower itself is so large, it already appears out of place within the skyline. My initial reaction to this announcement is negative however I will reserve judgment until we see exactly the type of art they intend to display.
