Tesla recently started taking orders for its innovative solar energy roof tiles. The tiles combine the functionality of solar panels built into the roof tiles themselves. The cost for this innovation is not cheap. That said, those early adopters interested in supporting renewable energy, and who have the means to do so, will be rewarded by reducing their non-renewable energy consumption while supporting cutting edge technology.
